Father's Day 2016

The fathers of our parish were celebrated at all Masses on Father’s Day with a special blessing and a gift of a phone wallet stamped with the new SMLCCS logo. In addition, Father Dan gave out fifty $5.00 gift certificates to Home Depot -- a big hit -- to the fathers who gave correct responses to such questions as, “Is there a father here who has 25 grandchildren?” Or, “Do we have an expectant father at Mass today?” Further, to everyone’s surprise, Father Dan “torpedoed” a number of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church and School PROUD T-shirts to parishioners who, for the most part, had no difficulty in catching them, proving that Father Dan’s next career should be quarterback for the Eagles!
