Moms and Dads, mark your calendars! Your children will have a summer they will never forget when they are Shipwrecked and Rescued by Jesus. This “Totally Catholic” VBS program is scheduled for July 30 through August 3 at SML School. Children aged 4 (as of May 1) to those starting 5th grade in September are welcome to join us on this exciting adventure. Registration will begin on May 7. Check the Parish website for forms and further information. Older students who would like to volunteer (6th graders next September though high schoolers) should call the PREP Office at 609-654-2546 ext. 310. Space is limited for both campers and counselors. Sixty-three of our fellow parishioners were commissioned at the 10:30 a.m. Mass last weekend. Over the past year, these men and women said yes to a process called ChristLife. They met together in small groups to discover the depths of Jesus’ love for them; to commit to a purposeful relationship with Him; to grow in understanding of what it means to follow Him; and to learn how to share the Good News of what Jesus has to offer. Sound interesting? In the Fall, we will begin Discovering Christ. More information to follow about this enriching and exciting process called ChristLife.

The St. Mary of the Lakes Youth Energized in The Spirit Ministry (Y.E.S.), in partnership with Covenant House, held a Sleep Out for the Homeless on Friday, April 27, at St. Mary of the Lakes School. The Sleep Out Movement is an opportunity to make an immediate and lasting impact on the homeless young people who live at Covenant House. The funds raised by Sleep Out participants are put to work immediately, keeping the lights on and the doors open for the thousands of kids who will seek help this year. PREP First Holy Eucharist was held Saturday morning and afternoon. The St. Mary of the Lakes School First Holy Eucharist is scheduled for Saturday, May 5, at 10:30 a.m. while another PREP First Holy Eucharist will be held on Saturday, May 5, at 1 p.m. To see more First Holy Communicants photos please go to the News/Events tab above and click on Photo Album.

The 75th Anniversary Raffle Tickets were sent to homes Saturday. The letter accompanying them has a major error. Tickets are not $25.00 each or a booklet of five for $100. The correct price is on the tickets. Tickets are $5.00 each or a booklet of six for $25.00.
