Children’s Church: We offer a “Children’s Church” in the Emmaus Center during the 10:30 a.m. Mass for children ages 4-5. The children stay approximately 20 minutes before returning to the church to join their parents for the liturgy of the Eucharist. Children's Church is not held on those Sundays when 10:30 a.m. Mass is designated as a "Children's Mass."
Children's Mass: The 6:00 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve will be a Children’s Mass. Children are needed to re-enact the following Gospel stories:
• The Annunciation
• The Visitation
• Joseph’s Dream
• The Nativity
• The Angels and Shepherds
• The Three Kings
There will be two rehearsals (participants need to attend both rehearsals) for this Mass: Monday, December 11th and Monday, December 18th from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. in Church. Three readers will be needed. Children who will be re-enacting the Gospel will not have speaking parts. Any child who would like to participate in the Children’s Christmas Mass is asked to sign the roster at the Parking Lot Entrance to the Church or use the sign-up link which can be found on the front page of the parish website at www.smlparish.org.
